Why am i so fat?

This video was very touching. I felt the little kids emotions and I think this is a very good video that concerns childhood obesity.

My reflection

My required blog post for this week was to start my reflection. I havent started my reflection yet, because i havent finished my video. I should be done with my video within the next couple of days. So therefore, once im done with my video i will start my reflection.

Pathos

In my video i will use pathos, ethos, and logos. I will mainly use pathos, so that parents could possibly feel guilty emotionally and would want to stop the problem, which is childhood obesity. The design, color, image, and sounds could all effect my argument if I dont use them right. If the font is a playful font, then my audiance wouldnt take my presentation serious. If my presentation is to colorful, it will appear that that the issue isnt serious either.

So far for my English 1060 project, im making good progress. I havent started making the actual video just yet but Im going to start this week. My biggest problem so far is trying to figure out what music i am going to use. I've gotten all my pictures and i have a clear picture in my head of how i want my video to look. Porfolio 3 so far..

I'm really excited about making this video for my English 1060 class. I think it will be fun, and I'm a creative person so i think i will do well on it. I got almost all my sources i want to use for my video. I just got to pick the music and do other small things.

Copywriting- required blog post.

In the past, i have used something from the internet in an unethical way. In the digital composing environment, i do not think that the current copyright laws work well because its sometimes hard to determine whats copywriting. Sometimes even when we cite the source, they might still say it was copywrited. It should be changed so people can have a clearer understanding of whats copywriting.

What can parents do to prevent childhood obesity?

Starting when the child is young, teach your children about healthy nutrition and healthy food choices. You can help them do this by ensuring that there are always healthy foods in the house and by guiding their food choices. Parents can also be a good role model by having a good diet, limited television viewing, and doing physical activity. It would also help children get the adequate amount of sleep each night. Also, have as many meals together as possible. Children who eat meals with their families are more likely to eat healthier meals.

Are parents the blame?

There are many things that cause childhood obesity, but there are also many ways for it to be prevented and controlled as well. Childhood obesity is an unhealthy issue that needs to end. This horrible epidemic can end if the parents be more involved in their children life regarding their health. If parents pay closer attention to what kind of food and how much their children intake, and limit their children television and video game time, I have no doubt that the rate of childhood obesity would decrease. I’m not saying that parents are the blame for the problem, but they could be a huge help to try to end this epidemic. Our generation is told to be the unhealthiest generation yet. If parents start a good diet and exercise pattern for children when they’re younger, it will most likely carry on with them into their teenage years and they will less likely become an obese adult. With healthier children, we will develop a healthier generation and longer lives.

childhood obesity

There is a health crisis that is spreading throughout the United States, children at younger ages than ever before are gaining weight more rapidly. The cause of childhood obesity has been studied by researchers for many years. “Obesity” is a term that’s loaded with emotion and carries the potential for discrimination. During the past half century America’s food choices, eating habits, and activity levels have become seriously imbalanced.
